Linda Reeves

Linda Fern (Heppner) Reeves, 59, of Danville went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. Linda was born on July 19, 1956 in Norfolk, Nebraska to Doug and LaRonna Heppner Sr., they survive. Linda married Art Reeves on August 11, 1995 at the Second Church of Christ in Danville. Surviving Linda is her husband, her two daughters; Molly Reeves and Maggie (David) Hundley, three brothers; Doug (Kerry) Heppner Jr., Ron (Jaxie) Heppner and Mark (Jody) Heppner. Linda was a school teacher for 33 years, starting her career in New Holland then going to Greenview Christian Church School and finally concluding her years at Bismarck Henning Grade School. She was the children's minister at the Second Church of Christ for 7 years. Linda was a member of the Second Church of Christ since 1985. She attended Lincoln Christian College and Illinois State University. Linda was a loving wife, mother and teacher. A celebration of Linda's life will be held Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Second Church of Christ at 6:00 pm. A private burial will be held at a later date.
