Linda R. Stacy

Linda R. Stacy, 65, of Westville, passed away at 9:45am, Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at Danville Care. She was born May 19, 1946 in Danville, the daughter of Louis and Ruth Marriage Vallangeon. She married Taylor Stacy, he preceded her in death. Those who will miss her are: her children, Conrad Smith of Westville, Barbara (Jeffery) Chrostowski of Westville, Marcia (Danny) Paree of Alabama and Donna Worthington of Clinton,IL; five grandchildren, Chasity Darnell, Amanda Chrostowski, Brittany Chrostowski, Jill Moreman and Kristen Moreman; also three great grandchildren, Desiree Darnell, Zachary Russell and Mackenzie Russell; three brothers, Ronald (Millie) Vallangeon of Westville, Richard Vallangeon of Westville and Claude (Elaine) Vallangeon of Perrysville, IN; two sisters, Sharon Noble and Gladys (Chuck) Pickering, both of Westville. She was preceded in death by: her parents; four brothers; and three sisters. Linda was a homemaker and enjoyed going to Church, playing Board games and Bingo. Most of all she enjoyed being with her family. A celebration of life funeral service for Linda R. Stacy will be 12:00pm (noon), Friday, August 19, 2011 at Sunset - Urbas Funeral Chapel, A Life Celebration Home with Phil Miller officiating the service. Visitation for family and friends will be from 10am to Noon on Friday. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery.
