Linda Lee Miller, 77, of Danville, IL passed away her home on March 26, 2026 at 5:10 AM.
She was born to Marilyn Hitchens and Donald Bailey on July 30, 1948. She married John Edward Miller on February 19, 1972 in Danville, IL and he survives.
Linda also survived by sister, Tracy (Chris) Ermold, Brenda (Sonny) Fee, Pattie Bailey, and Lisa (Dan) Nickel, her children, Patti (Greg) Bond, Sgt. James Miller, Jennifer Miller, Heather (Russell) Ellis and special grandchild, Cassandra (PJ) Wasson. Other survivors include her grandchildren, Jonathon Bond, Richard Vollmer, James “Eddie” Hoopingarner, Nate Bond, Brittany (Nate) Epperson, Lee Miller, Austin “AJ” Miller, Robert Miller, Melody Miller, Jamie Hoopingarner, Donna (Derik) Wise, great grandchildren, Kyleigh, Bri, Landen, Alex, Connor, Lexi, Sapphire, William, Ethan, and Cannon and one great-great granddaughter, Alkaline, as well as many others that adopted her as “Mom”.
Linda is preceded in death by father, Donald (Barbara) Bailey, mother, Marilyn (Richard) Weidenhoeft, and sister, Sandra (Andy) Harper.
She was a Registered Nurse for 20 years, and loved playing B.I.N.G.O. almost as much as her grandkids. She made quilts for each member of her family as well as for organizations to raffle off. She also enjoyed building dollhouses, and her favorite artist was John Denver.
Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville, Illinois, 3901 N. Vermilion Street Danville, Illinois 61832.
Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 is assisting the family with arrangements.
