Linda Marie Fair

Savoy - Linda Marie Fair, 93, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Champaign Urbana Nursing and Rehab in Savoy, IL. She was born on March 29, 1925 in Biloxi, MS to Emmet and Nancy (Williams) Hall. Linda married Rufus Fair in St. Louis, MO in 1960. Linda is survived by her son Rufus Leonard Fair; grandchildren Anthony, Damien, Moriah, Holly, Aaron, Jade, Cameo, Duncan, Violet, Conner, and Ivy; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Kyle; siblings Reverend L.S., James, Lilli, Reverend Jesse, and Calvin. Linda sang in the church choir at Second Baptist Church in St. Louis, MO, and she was a field missionary for the city of St. Louis. She enjoyed watching the sermons of Bishop T.D. Jakes as well as old movies on TCM. Services will be set for a future date. Memorial donations may be made in Linda's name to Daily Bread Soup Kitchen or Jesus Is Way Prison Ministries.
