Linda L Stine

Linda L. Stine, 75, of Westville, passed away at 9:45pm, Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at Bement Health Care, Bement, IL. She was born on May 26, 1941, in Westville, IL, the daughter of Cecil Moten and Janet {Bishop} Gill. She was married to Lawrence Stine at Mann's Chapel until his passing in 1998. She is survived by: her sons, Bart (Jennifer) Stine of Monticello, IL, and Brad (Linda) Stine of Oak Park, IL; her grandchildren, Kristin, Nick, Anne, Kellie, & Elizabeth Stine; and her sisters, Janice Barker & Betty Sleva, both of Westville. She was preceded in death by her parents. Linda worked at Carmack Car Capitol in Danville for over 30 years. She loved cooking, quilting, gardening, canning. She also enjoyed reupholstering furniture, skeet shooting, water skiing, & bowling. She also liked classic movies and British sports cars. Linda enjoyed spending time with her family, especially grandchildren. A celebration of Linda's life will be held at 3:00pm, Friday, October 14, 2016, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S. State St, Westville, IL. Visitation will be 5pm-8pm, Thursday, October 13, 2016, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Sandusky Cemetery, Westville. .
