Linda L. Kulbartz, 67, of Georgetown, passed away at 8:27pm, Sunday, October 14, 2012, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. She was born on September 4, 1945, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Clyde and Sarah Lucille {Smith} Sprouls, both deceased. She was united in marriage to Tom Kulbartz on August 12, 1967, in Danville, IL. He will miss her dearly. She is also survived by: her daughter, Lisa Lockwood of Madison, WI; her brother, Jack (Marla) Sprouls of Lyndon, WA; and her grandchildren, Alexander & Nicholas Lockwood, both of Madison, WI. She was preceded in death by her son, Erik Kulbartz, and her sister, Gwenlee Rutledge. Linda enjoyed being a piano teacher for many years and loved playing. She also enjoyed working with her husband for the Georgetown-Ridge Farm-Chrisman Co-op Runners. She was affectionately referred to as, Mrs. Coach'. Linda also enjoyed driving around and taking photos. She often referred to them as "our photo drives". A celebration of Linda's life will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, October 18, 2012, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown. Visitation will be 5pm-8pm, Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park, Danville. Memorial donations may be given in Linda's name to: St. Joseph's Indian School, 1301 N Main St, Chamberlain, SD 57325.
