Linda L. Carpenter

Linda L. Carpenter, 67, of Danville passed away at 8 AM, Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at her home. She was born October 11, 1946 in Danville, the daughter of Arthur and Yvonne (Scot) Stinespring. She married William Carpenter on June 11, 1966 in Danville. She is survived by her husband, their son, Troy Carpenter, of Oakwood and daughter, Heather (Joe) Carpenter of Bismarck, three special grandchildren, Cody, Carissa and Bailey, two brothers, Steve (Sandra) Stinespring of Lake Wales, FL and Mark (Lisa) Stinespring of Westville. Linda was a homemaker and worked several part time jobs to help support her family in her earlier years. She gave her children and grandchildren unconditional love every day of every year. Along with the love of family, she shared that love with her beloved pets throughout her years. A celebration of Lindas life will be held on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville with Pastor Bill Carpenter officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park.
