Linda Kay Williams

Linda Kay {Odeneal} Williams, 77, of Covington, IN, passed away at 12:45am, Monday, December 26, 2022, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL. She was born in Covington, IN, at the Suzicki Clinic on July 15, 1945, the daughter of Ernest and Mildred {Yates} Odeneal. She was united in marriage to Gary F. Williams from Bismarck, IL, on April 28, 1973. Linda Kay was a lifelong resident of Covington and graduated from Covington High School Class of 1963. She owned and operated Lindas Doll Clothes Business. She liked cooking, sewing, and reading. She also enjoyed writing letters to friends and family. Linda Kay was a member of the 7th Street Church of Christ in Covington. Linda Kay is survived by her husband; her sons, Stacey Lee Williams and Carl Lane (Marie) Williams; her granddaughters, Arity Lynn Williams and Alexis Marie Williams; her great granddaughter, Avalon Mae Jean; and her special friends, Joy and Jamie Farr of Bell Canyon, California. A celebration of Linda Kays life will be held at 3:00pm (EST), Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Covington, Indiana 420 3rd St. Covington, Indiana 47932. Visitation will be held 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Thursday prior to her service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Lower Mound Cemetery, Perrysville, Indiana.
