LINDA KAY MASON Linda Kay Mason, 63, of Ft. Worth, Texas, formerly of Danville, passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Harries Methodist Hospital in Ft. Worth. Linda was born on July 1, 1947 in Danville, the daughter of Frank and Ethel (Reffett) Scott Jr. She is survived by her mother- Ethel Martin of Perrysville; step-mother- Sue Scott of Danvilledaughter- Amy Taylor of Ft. Worth, Texas; son- Shawn (Stephanie) Taylor of Fishers, Indiana; three grandchildren- Madison Taylor, Lane Taylor and Taylor Pitmon; three brothers- Terry Andrews of Ohio, Mike Andrews of Ohio and Randy Martin of Perrysville; four sisters- Rhonda Sue (Richard) Baldwin of West Virginia, Luanne (Kelly) Freed of Danville, Crystal Fields of Danville and Sandra (Donald) Knauer of Cayuga; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by father and aunt and uncle- Marguerite and Delbert McCrone. Linda graduated from Danville High School in 1965. She worked as an inventory auditor for Grainger in Ft. Worth for the last nine years and previously worked for over 30 years at General Electric in Danville and later transferred to Texas. Linda enjoyed home decorating, watching Animal Planet, shopping and going on vacations (most recently Hawaii). She loved to spend time with her family and her best friend- Toni Capps. Linda was a very giving person. She will be missed by all of her friends and family. A Celebration of the life Linda Kay Mason of will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, a Life Celebration Home, with Pastor Jim Walker officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Per her wishes she was cremated.
