Linda K. Hagen, 60, of Tilton, passed away at 5:43 a.m. Sunday March 6th, 2011 at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, after a yearlong battle with cancer. Linda was born on October 27th, 1950, in Danville, the daughter of Roy F. and Agnes (Moore) Broderick. She married Rex. G. Hagen on March 25th, 1972 in Danville. He survives. She is also survived by a daughter- Jennifer Lynn (Brad Weaver) Hagen of Tilton; five brothers- John T. (Sue) Broderick of Danville, Jim (Patty) Broderick of Danville, Richard (Donna) Broderick of Catlin, Don (Carol) Broderick of Danville and Kenneth (Paula) Broderick of Danville; sister- Anna Catherine (William) Lattrell of Westville; special friends- Billy and Kelly Lowenstein and family of Danville, Scott Larsen, Jennifer and Kale Lance Larsen of Danville; Aunt-Roberta Juvinall of Danville; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded by death by her parents, son-Lance Christopher Hagen and brother- Roy Broderick Jr. She graduated from Danville High School in 1969. Linda worked at Osco Drugs and the Butternut Bread store for several years. She was a member of Holy Family Church. Linda loved dogs, cooking, candy making, shopping, decorating her house for the holidays, playing bingo, meeting with her friends at Royal Donut, watching Illini Basketball and spending time with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her and loved her. A Celebration of the life of Linda K. Hagen will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday March 10th, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, a Life Celebration Home, with Pastor Ed Ross officiating. Burial will follow the service in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
