Linda Jurczak

Linda Mae Jurczak, 49, of Danville passed away on March 15, 2010 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. Linda was born May 14, 1960 in Danville daughter of Charles W. and Shirlee (Wright) Jones. She married Robert Jurczak on September 22, 1979 in Danville at The Second Church of Christ. He survives along with two children: Charles C.J (Lauren) Jurczak of Collinsville, IL and Jacob Jurczak of Danville; sisters: Barbara Pilkington of Danville and Judy (Monte) Siddens of New Port Richie, FL; brother-in-law: Jeff (Robin) Jurczak of Chicago, IL; nieces: Amy & Allie Jurczak, Robin Pilkington, Tracy (Brad) Wright, Michelle (Tim) Fultz, Marcie (John) Fries, Oran Siddens, and Mazie Siddens; great nieces & nephews: Evan & Gavin Wright, Kole McLellan, Melia, Sofie, & Echo Tomlinson, and Owen Nale & Tragen Fultz. She was preceded in death by her father Charles, father and mother in laws Matt & Helen Jurczak, and brother-in-law Jon. Linda was a 78 graduate of Danville High School and had worked several years at the Danville Commercial-News. She advanced her career at the highly accredited Champaign News-Gazette. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Danville for a number of years. Linda enjoyed being a balloon chaser for Balloon Classic, avid Cubs fans and believer of Post #210 baseball, and wouldnt miss her sons sporting events, but above all she was a dedicated and loving mother that loved spending time with her family and friends. A Celebration of Lindas Life will be held at 7:00 pm, Friday, March 19, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion St. Danville, IL with Pastor Kent Tibben officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-7 Friday evening at the funeral home. Per her wishes, following the service she will be cremated and laid to rest with a private family ceremony at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please make memorials to her children.
