Linda Sue Gerrib, 75, born February10, 1948 to Houston Clay Lucas and Betty Adelie (Sullivan) Lucas at Lake View Hospital in Danville, IL. Passed away on Saturday January 6, 2024, at OSF Sacred Heart in Danville with family by her side.

Linda graduated Danville High School June 1, 1967. She later married Jerome Bruce Gerrib of Westville, IL, on October 28, 1969, they were married 54 years He survives. They had two children together, Joanna and Jason (April) Gerrib, two grandsons Jaxon and Carson that also survive.

Lindas motto was to take care of the family first, she showed that whether it was at a baseball or wresting consession stand and never missed a activity that they did. Her entire world revolved around her kids and husband. She was always available to be of support to anyone in need, whether just listening over a cup of coffee or a glass of tea. She was an immaculate woman who loved handbags, shoes, and jewelry. When she found something, she liked chances where she had it in many colors.

She loved nothing more than spending time with her family a good piece of chocolate and a glass of Coca Cola. Her curiosity for the unexplained filled hours of conversation, and her family will miss these the most and long talks about everything.

Per her request only a private service will be held. In lieu of flowers please donate in her name to St. Judes Children Hospital. The family has entrusted Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Westville, IL with Lindas final wishes.
