Linda G. Brown

Danville- Linda G. Brown, 68, of Danville passed away at 11:25 AM on Thursday February 25, 2010 at her home with her family. She was born in Whitesburg, KY on July 10, 1941 the daughter of Joel and Carrie Williams Johnson. She married David H. Brown on January 3, 1956 in Jonesburg, VA. He survives. Also surviving are 1 son David M. (Lori) Brown; 2 daughters Diane (Bryan) Hanson and Kristi (Lesley) Weaver; 2 sisters Athena Glenn and Ruth (Bill) Flanary; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Linda enjoyed exercising and chasing her grandkids. A Service to Celebrate the Life of Linda G. Brown will be held at 10 AM on Monday March 1, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center at 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville. Pastor Raymond Gordon will officiate.
