Linda Emery

WESTVILLE - Linda Rose Emery, 58, passed away at 10:48am, on Sunday, June 24th, 2007, at Prairie Rose Nursing Home in Pana, IL. She was born on September 8th, 1948, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Christopher and Gladys Helen (Lynch) Shaw. On May 8th, 1975, she married Garry Emery in Danville, IL. He survives of Westville. Other survivors include: her mother & stepfather, Gladys (Dr. Ralph) Sullivan of Westville; her son, John Stahl of Lafayette, IN; her brother, Jeff (Chris) Shaw of Westville; her grandson, Joshua Lee Stahl of Newport, IN; and her niece, Kaitlyn Shaw of Westville. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her father, and step brother-Scott Sullivan. Linda enjoyed doing crafts and gardening. She also enjoyed playing euchre. She loved to cook. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, June 28th, 2007, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel of Westville. Visitation will be 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday, June 27th, 2007, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Danville National Cemetery.
