Linda Cummings

Danville- Linda Cummings, 63, of Christopher, IL formerly of Danville, passed away at 12:30pm on September 5, 2013 in Herrin, IL. She was born on April 16, 1950 in Decatur, IL. She was married to Bradley Chenoweth on April 18, 1985 in Danville, IL. He preceded her in death in 2001. Linda was re-married to Richard Cummings on July 4, 2007 in Danville. He survives. She is survived by her sons Kelly (Mary Beth) Ewing of Decatur, IL. Marc (Pennie) Chenoweth of Catlin, IL. And Mike Chenoweth; her daughters Elizabeth (Owen) Majeres of Decatur, IL. And Shelly (Jeremy) Ragsdale of Oreana, IL; her grandchildren Joel and Sara Conley, Amanda and Adam Fisher, Jennifer and Taylor Ewing, Samantha Gottman, Ashlea, Justin, Dylan, and Alex Ragsdale, Hope, Gracie, and Megan Marjeres, and William Chenoweth. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Barbara and Nancy, and her previous husband Bradley Chenoweth. Linda was a proud war time Navy veteran, Linda was also a CNA for the VA Illiana Health Care System for 15 years. Linda was a very organized person and would find enjoyment in shopping, and moving the furniture in the house around. Above all else Linda loved to spend time with her family and her husband Rick. A graveside committal service celebrating Lindas life will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday September 10, 2013 at Rankin Cemetery with Pastor James Blue officiating.
