BELGIUM - Lily M. Nevels, 90, of Belgium, passed away at 7:00am, Wednesday, April 4th, 2007, at Vermilion Manor Nursing Home in Danville. She was born April 16th, 1916, in Carrie Mills, IL, the daughter of Ernest and Vera Coseboone. She was united in marriage to James Reffett in 1933. He preceded her in death. Lily later married Robert Nevels in 1955, who survives of Belgium. Other survivors include: her two daughters, Sue Cadle of Westville and Vicki (Greg) Black of Tilton; her very special niece, Linda Mayberry. Lily had nine children, twenty-five grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her children-Kenneth Reffett, Elizabeth Reed, Jimmie Reffett, Sonny Reffett, Brenda Reffett, Timothy Nevels, John Nevels, and six grandchildren. Lily loved making dinner for her family, playing music with her family, planting gardens, and competing in the Georgetown Fair. She loved playing Bingo. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A graveside service will be held at 11:30am, Monday, April 9th, 2007, at Danville National Cemetery, 1900 E Main St, Danville, with Art Tabels officiating. The family will welcome friends from 10am to 11am at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S State St, Westville, prior to the service.
