Lillie Mae Kunkle

Perrysville, Ind. - Lillie Mae Kunkle, 92, of rural Perrysville, passed away at 4:15 p.m. EDT Sunday, August 3, 2014 at the Vermillion Convalescent Center in Clinton, Indiana. She was born March 17 1922 in Ridge Farm, Illinois, the daughter of the late Marion Lee and Bessie Elizabeth Swank Poling. She married Bud Kunkle on June 30, 1941 in Cayuga, Indiana. He preceded her in death on November 30, 1993. Survivors include two daughters, Betty Mae(Mike)Richmond of rural Perrysville, Indiana and Pamela Kay(Arlen)Chambers of West Plains, Missouri; son, Robert Dale(Suzanne)Kunkle of rural Perrysville, Indiana; nine grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren. Lillie Mae was preceded in death by her son-in-law, John Farley and two sisters, Ruth Kunkle and Ruby Freeman. Lillie Mae formerly attended the Cayuga Assembly of God and later attended the New Life Family Church in Clinton, Indiana until her recent illness. She was a 1941 graduate of Ridge Farm High School. Lillie Mae enjoyed gardening, mowing her yard and raising flowers. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Funeral services: 2 p.m. EDT Thursday, August 7, 2014 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Burial: Crown Hill Cemetery in Ridge Farm, Illinois; Visitation: Noon EDT until time of services Thursday, August 7, 2014 at the funeral home.
