Lillian Yoho, 84, passed away June 2, 2015 at North Logan Health Care Center in Danville. She was born August 22, 1930 in Humrick, IL to Samuel and Florence Richards. She was married for over 44 years to Leo Yoho, who preceded her in death in June 1997. Lillian leaves behind: three children, Patricia (Chancy) Spencer, John (Mary) Yoho and James (Jane) Yoho; nephew, Sam Richards; and niece, Carolyn Schnur. Lillian is also survived by nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and countless unofficial friends who referred to her as "Granny". She was preceded in death by: two brothers, Carl Richards and Warren Richards: nephew, Larry Richards; and granddaughter, Gail Yoho. Lillian was involved with the Royal Neighbors of America, both socially and professionally since the early 1960's. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Philip Schmit, Charity Loden and her entire family as well as to Rose Isaac-McCray for their countless acts of love, friendship, and dedication to Lillian's quality of life over the past few years. We would also like to recognize the staffs at both Presence United Samaritans and North Logan Health Care Center for the compassionate care shown to Lillian during the past few weeks. A Celebration of Lillian's life will be held at 12:00pm, Saturday, June 6, 2015, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown. Visitation will be held 10am-12pm, prior to her service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Georgetown Cemetery. Casual dress is preferred as per Granny's wishes.
