Lillian Mccord

Lillian Agnes Aggie McCord, age 79, of Tilton, passed away at 10:15 pm on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at her home in Tilton. She was born February 13, 1929 in Metcalf, IL the daughter of Ralph and Hattie Alyne (Meister) Smith. She married Richard McCord on December 13, 1985 in Danville. He survives. Aggie is also survived by her step father: Leo Schneider of Danville; two sons: Eldon (Geri) Wright of Danville, Terry L. (Patricia) McCord of Danville; three daughters: Melanie Miller (Raymond Rowley) of Danville, Kellie Wiegand (Jack Clifton) of Poplar Grove, IL, Cindy McCord (Ken Degenhardt) of Tilton; two brother and sister in laws: Terry A. and Betty McCord of Danville, Judy and Phil Edwards of Arizona; fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister: Phyllis Smith. Aggie worked as a legal secretary. She loved dotting on her grandchildren and never missed a ball game that anyone of them was involved in. She was an avid Cubs fan and loved spending time with her friends and playing cards. Aggie was a member of the Turtle Club and a past member of the Navy Mothers Club. She will be sadly missed by everybody that knew her.
