Lillian L. Resh

Danville - Lillian L. Resh, 92, passed away on September 12, 2015 at Hawthorne Inn in Danville, IL. She was born the daughter of Anthony and Lillian (Mazalewski) Toloczko on May 14, 1923 in Chicago, IL. Lillian married Joseph G. Resh on March 19, 1944 in Chicago. Lillian is survived by her three children Gary (Doris) Resh, Mark (Lori) Resh, and Tina (John) Withers; eight grandchildren Heidi Resh, Kate Jutz, Cooper Resh, Mack Resh, Quinn Asquith, Aaron Asquith, Colin Withers, and Evan Withers; two great grandchildren Jax Jutz and Jayden Banda; and her brother Henry A. (Kathy) Toloczko. Lillian is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, and one sister. Lillian graduated from Harrison High School and took courses at the Art Institute of Chicago. She was an avid reader and especially loved reading mysteries. She enjoyed cross stitch and was a former art league member. Lillian often said, "Go with the flow." Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center on Tuesday September 15, 2015 from 1-2pm with service to follow at 2pm at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at a later time. Because of Lillian's love of reading, the family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made in Lillian's name to the Danville Public Library Foundation at 319 N.
