Lillian B. Bobrosky, 87, of Danville passed away at 4:58 PM on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville. She was born on February 25, 1925 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Albert and Lillian (Zimmerman) James. She married Julius Bobrosky on August 28, 1946 in Tilton, IL. She is survived by one son-Vincent (Marie) Bobrosky of Normal, IL, one daughter- Victoria (Robin) Baker of Oakwood, IL, three grandchildren- Elizabeth (Erik) Hillier of Waukesha, WI, Carrie (Scott) Helling of Cleveland, OH, Christopher Bobrosky of Normal, IL, and one great-grandchild- Lukas Hillier. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers-Richard and Albert Bobrosky and one sister at birth. Lillian loved genealogy, crocheting, baking cookies, collecting historical postcards and three fold paper fans. She was a member of the Illiana genealogy society and the Vermilion County Museum. A Celebration of Lillian's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Sunset's Oakwood Chapel with Rev. Bobby Samuel officiating. A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials can be made in Lillian's name to the American Cancer Society.
