Leta Pepper passed away suddenly on December 6, 2015 in Danville, IL. She was born September 3, 1957 to Merle M. and Harriet H. (Bradbury) Pepper Hall in Urbana, IL. Both parents preceded her in death. Leta graduated from Urbana High School and received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Illinois. She was a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Her career spanned an area from Alaska to Kenya, but most of her time was spent in private practice in Danville. Leta's work positively impacted hundreds of lives, not only the lives of her clients, but also the professionals with whom she worked. Leta is survived by two brothers, two aunts, and five cousins. A celebration of life memorial service for Leta will be held on December 22, 2015 at 7:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville with Jim Russell officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Vermilion County Conservation District Foundation, www.vccdfoundation.org.
