Lester Leroy Haworth

Lester Leroy Haworth, 99, of Leesburg, FL passed away peacefully on January 8, 2023. Mr. Haworth was born March 22, 1923, in Georgetown, Illinois to Chester Leroy and Mary Neal Haworth. He loved the outdoors and was an especially avid fisherman. He also loved his garden and taking his dogs for rides on the golf cart. He was also a skilled woodworker and enjoyed watching football. Additionally, Mr. Haworth was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his beloved wife of 77 years Jacqueline; daughter Renee Parker of Lake Mary, FL; son Randy (Martha) Haworth of Leesburg, FL; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 7 great, great grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren, 8 step-great grandchildren; and his faithful companions Babe and Ginger; he was preceded in death by his 2 siblings Harold and Jewel. A celebration of Lesters life will be held 2:00pm, Monday, January 16, 2023, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 E. West St. Georgetown, Illinois 61846. Visitation will be 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Monday prior to his service at the funeral home. He will be interred at Georgetown Cemetery.
