Leoma 'Sue' Lang

Dana, Ind. - Leoma "Sue" Lang, 82, formerly of Veedersburg, Indiana and Bowdle, South Dakota passed away at 8:19 p.m. EDT Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the home of her daughter, Brenda Murphy.

Sue was born March 9, 1936 in Parke County, Indiana the daughter of the late Grover and Rebecca Sowers.

She married Jackie D. Lang, Sr. on September 28, 1956 in Covington, Indiana. He preceded her in death on May 1, 2012.

Survivors include her children: Jack Lang, Jr. of Covington, Indiana; Gerry Lang of Dana, Indiana; Pete (Duey) Lang of Crawfordsville, Indiana; Jeff Lang of Pierce, Nebraska; Brenda (Ty) Murphy, Tim (Brandi) Lang and Mike Lang all of Dana, Indiana; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Sue was preceded in death by her daughter: Cathy Lang; four sisters and three brothers.

Sue was a homemaker. She formerly attended the Veedersburg Church of the Nazarene before moving to South Dakota. Sue enjoyed working on puzzles, going to casino's and dancing.

Memorial service: 6 p.m. EDT Thursday, September 13, 2018 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Pastor Keith McIntyre; Visitation: 5 p.m. EDT Thursday, September 13, 2018 until time of memorial services. Burial of cremains will be held at a later date at Bonebrake Cemetery near Veedersburg, Indiana.
