Leo Loveall

Covington, Ind. - Leo Loveall, 91, of Covington, passed away at 8:29 p.m. EDT Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the Roudebush V.A. Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born February 1, 1925 in Humrick, Illinois the son of the late William McKinley and Lucy Ellen (Trosper) Loveall. He married Dorothy Craft on May 25, 1948 in Eugene, Indiana. She preceded him in death on September 30, 1983. Survivors include his children: Janet (Fred) Freeman and Sandy (Tom) Turner both of Cayuga, Indiana; Debra Skinner of Rileysburg, Indiana; David (Alma)Loveall of Cayuga, Indiana; Gerry (Tammy) Loveall of Covington, Indiana; Bonny (Jeff) Wright of Rileysburg, Indiana; Mary (Tim) Caudill of Catlin, Illinois and Robin Drennan of Cayuga, Indiana; 26 grandkids; 63 great grandkids and 17 great great grandkids; one sister, Lucy Mae Bailey of Rockville, Indiana. Leo was preceded in death by one son, Arnold Loveall; one granddaughter; 3 great great grandkids; five sisters, Mary Jane Myers; Betty Hutts; Louise Sanders; Verneedis June Lamb and Doris Ashby; two brothers, Joe Loveall and Herbert Arlo Loveall and a very special friend, Lois Ross. Leo retired in 1980 from the Colonial Brick Yard in Cayuga, Indiana. He also farmed in the area. He served his country proudly during World War II with the United States Army. He was a member of the Cayuga American Legion Rainbow Post #263 and the Bass Pro Club. He enjoyed fishing, horseshoes, playing cards and games with his many grandkids. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Funeral services: 11 a.m. EDT Monday, September 5, 2016 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Rev.
