Lenore R. Mauck

Lenore R. Mauck, 94, formerly of Danville, IL, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2013 at her home in Deltona, Florida. She was born on July 29, 1918 in Strawn, Illinois, the daughter of Henry and Genevieve(Absher) Rudolph. Surviving her are her Children: Nondra Bell of Longwood, FL, Patricia Lesh(Barry) of Boise, ID, Victoria Greaver(Thomas) of Osteen, FL, and Richard Mauck(Sasha) of Oviedo, FL, as well as her younger brother, William Rudolph(Virginia) of Matteson,IL. Grandchildren: Russell Greaver (Brenda), Cory Greaver(Ashley), Andrew Mauck(Amanda), Trenton Mauck(Erica), Jonathan Mauck and Tiffany Lance. Great-Grandchildren: Austin Darrow, Aiden Greaver, Brandon Greaver, Lillian Mauck, and Logan Mauck. Lenore was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, H.Eugene(Gene) Mauck. Lenore married H. Eugene(Gene) Mauck on September 2, 1939 in Library, Pennsylvania. Living in the Pittsburgh area for nine years after marriage, they moved to Cleveland, Ohio for a short time, then lived in Coalwood, West Virginia for 11 years and then Chicago, IL for six years. They moved to Northern West Virginia for fourteen years before retirement when they traveled extensively in Mexico, Europe, Canada, Hawaii and all of the United States in their travel trailer which was their home away from home. After their travels, they settled, close to family, in Deltona, FL. Lenore graduated from Danville High School and Eureka College. She was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the matriarch of her entire family. The whole family looked forward to Sunday dinner, where they got to spend priceless time with her. She gave tirelessly to everyone that she came into contact with and always had a beautiful smile to share. She was always there to show support, always had good stories to tell and was always the first person that we all called to share news with, good or bad. Lenore is missed beyond words. A Celebration of Lenore's life will be held at the Chapel Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville, IL. on April 10, 2013 at 2:00 PM. Pastor Raymie Gordon officiating.
