Lee Drummond Randall, 84, of Danville, passed away at 11:55 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2005 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home. Se was born July 19, 1920 in Highland Park, Michigan, the daughter of Archie and Elizabeth (Hay) Drummond. She married Walter Everett Randall on April 4, 1941 in Birmingham, Michigan. They were married over 63 years prior to his death on March 16, 2005. She is survived by: 1 Son- Daniel (Deborah) Randall of Midland, MI; 1 Daughter- Susan (Lanny Henderson) Randall of Jonesboro, GA; 3 Grandchildren- David (Kerri) Randall of Flushing, MI, Douglas (Kelly) Randall of Sterling Heights, MI and Danielle Randall of Midland, MI; and very dear friends- Earl Hittinger of Danville and Betty Swanger of Danville. In addition to her husband, her parents preceded her in death. She graduated from Dondero High School in Royal Oak, Michigan in 1938 as Valedictorian of her class. Lee worked as a registered jeweler at Overstreet Jewelry in Danville from 1967-1977. She then worked as a Legal Secretary for the law firm of Manion & Devens for 10 years until her retirement in 1988. Lee was well known for her gourmet cooking and entertaining with a continental flair. She enjoyed being a registered jeweler and continuing her education in the field of gemology.
