She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brother Jerald “Johnny” Lyons. Lea Tinder, known by all as “Grandma Lea”, was an amazing individual. Lea was a very generous person; in her eyes nothing was more important to have if it was better served with someone else. Lea was an avid quilter and she loved to crochet. She was a very crafty lady. She also enjoyed sitting back and reading a book. Lea loved spending time in the kitchen with her grandchildren where they would bake together; only rule about baking with Grandma Lea is that it has to be sweet. Above all else, Lea loved her family; she will be sorely missed by anyone who was fortunate enough to have known her. A memorial service celebrating Leas life will be held at 6pm on Friday April 18, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. A visitation will be held on Friday April 18, 2014 from 4pm to 6pm at the funeral home. Please join Leas Family in sharing memories, pictures, and videos of Leas life on her tribute wall at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com.
