Lea Michelle Chapman

Lea Michelle Chapman, 25 of Covington, IN passed away on February 13, 2019 in Fountain County, IN.

She was born on October 20, 1993 in Danville, IL the daughter of Ron Chapman and ReAnn (Powell) Pruitt.

Lea will be deeply missed by her parents, ReAnn (Jim) Pruitt of Danville and Ron (Anna) Chapman of Covington, siblings; Lauren (Bryan) Morgan of Attica, Mallory Chapman, McKenna Chapman, Josh (Jessica) Pruitt and Melody (Mark) Potter all of Covington, grandparents; Janet Chapman, Dale (Becky) Powell and Mike (Becky) Gremore, one very special nephew, Oliver Morgan and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Tom Chapman and uncle, Jeff Chapman.

Lea graduated from Covington High School. She worked at Sheltons Fireworks in Covington and also Pet Supplies Plus in Danville. She was an avid New England Patriots fan. Lea loved kids and babysitting, especially spending time with Oliver. She was a member of West Liberty Church of Christ in Covington. Lea just enjoyed hanging out with her many friends and family.

A celebration of Leas life will be held at 11:00 AM EST on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at First Church of Christ in Covington with Pastors Drew Mentzer and Mike Harshman officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM EST on Monday, February 18, 2019 at the church. She will be laid to rest at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Memorials may be made in her name to the charity of the donors choice or her family with help for funeral expenses.
