Layne Worden

Layne Worden, 14 months old, of Strawberry Plains, TN, died at 6:00pm, Friday, June 19, 2015, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Jefferson City, TN. He was born on March 31, 2014, at Waukegan, IL, the son of Kory Worden and Janelle Seegers. Layne loved playing with his tractors and watching & playing with the Minions. He also loved to say cheese for the camera. He always had a fun time with playing with his friend, Shelby. He will be dearly missed by: his parents, Kory & Janelle; his sister Olivia Zesati of Burlington, WI; his grandparents, Alycia Seegers of Huntley, IL; Mark Seegers of Burlington, WI, & Tracy (Chuck) Worden of Covington; his aunts & uncles, Brandi (Pat) McWhorter of New Castle, IN, Jarred (Jamie) Worden of Centerville, IN, & Chris Seegers of Woodstock, IL; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by a special uncle, Josh Witsman. A celebration of Layne's life will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Covington Church of the Nazarene, with Pastor Tom Hunter officiating. Visitation will be 5pm-8pm, Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at the Church. He will be laid to rest in West Lebanon Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to the family. Sunset's Covington Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.
