Lawrence B. Tevebaugh

Lawrence "Butch" Bryce Tevebaugh, 78, of Danville, Illinois went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 27, 2020 at Carle Foundation Hospital with his son by his side.

Lawrence was born on November 8, 1941 to Charles Bryce and Margaret Tevebaugh, who proceeded him in death, along with his brother, Bob and daughter, Teresa.

Lawrence is survived by two siblings, Sue (the late, Jerry) Henk and Jerry (Jackie) Tevebaugh, son, Larry "Toby" Tevebaugh; daughter, Terrie (John) Denny, loved ex-wife and friend, Norma Mitchell Tevebaugh; grandkids, Jamie Hoopingarner, Shelby Smith (Dylan Hughes), Jordan Tevebaugh, Brady Tevebaugh, William Taylor and Jennifer and Shawn Denney; dear friend and neighbor of many years, Betty Palmer.

His grandkids affectionally referred to him as "Pap" and those who knew Lawrence know that his grandkids were his world, along with his dog and best friend, Narla.

Lawrence loved to be outside swinging on his swing with Narla, detailing cars, going to the movies, walking every morning with his sister, Sue, spending time with his grandkids, attending ball games and driving his corvette. He was also a very well-known meat cutter at County Market for many years. Lawrence will be dearly missed by many.

His family would like to thank all of the nurses and staff at Carle Foundation Hospital for the wonderful care that he received, along with all of the thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Know that our God walks with us each and every day, we just have to be willing to grab his hand and walk with him. Blessings to everyone.
