Lawrence Augustus Wilson

USAF Tech Sergeant, Lawrence A. Wilson, age 90, passed away at Presence Covenant Hospital in Urbana October 24, 2015. He retired at Chanute Air Base in Rantoul, after serving in Japan and Korea. He was born June 14, 1925 in Kincaid, WV. The son of Filmore and Clara (Snead) Wilson. He is survived by one daughter, Sheila Gasquet of Wilmington, NC and a grandson Eric Isenhart of Indianapolis. A special thanks to Laurent Gasquet who was at his bedside. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Danville, Illinois. A small graveside service will be held at a later date at Danville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Lung Association or the Wounded Warrior Project.
