Lavonna 'Susie' Black

Danville- Lavonna "Susie" Sue Black, 52, of Tilton, went to be with the Lord in Heaven at 1:25 PM on March 16, 2013. She was born in Danville on August 20th, 1960 to Herbert H. and Rose Anna Black. Lavonna was a member of the Vineyard Church in Danville. She always put everyone else and everything else before her own personal needs. Lavonna loved the Lord and was never afraid to tell you about his unconditional love for each of us. Lavonna was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Anna Black; brother, Mark Black; and niece Makaylah Black (Watson). She is survived by her son Aaron (Carrie) Elliott; her father Herbert H. Black and his wife Alice Black; her brother Greg (Vickie) Black; nephews Greg Black, Jr. and Cameron Black; and her very special friends Timothy, Renee, and Zachary Elliott. Memorial services are scheduled for 1 PM on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the Vineyard Church, 3733 Poolside, off of Vermilion St. in Danville. Pastor Jay Sorrell will officiate. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville is in charge of cremation rites. Memorials may be made in Lavonna's name the Vineyard Church.
