Laurie Scott

Danville Laurie Scott, 67, of Danville passed away at 1:08 PM on February 13, 2023 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville, IL.

Laurie was born on August 7, 1955 the daughter of Glen and Jeanne (Stull) Scott in Danville, IL.

Survivors include her mother, Jeanne Scott of Danville, IL as well as several cousins.

Laurie is preceded in death by her father, Glen Scott and one sister, Nancy "Jan" Scott.

Laurie graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University magna cum laude and worked for her father, Glen, for many years at Great Scott. She was an avid Illini Basketball fan and in her younger years was a skilled tennis player. Growing up Laurie was known as the "big sister" to all the kids in her neighborhood.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Reverend Randall Robinson will officiate. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from 5-7:00 PM at the funeral home.
