Laura Cox

Laura Cox, 83, of Monroe NJ, passed away at 6:30 pm (Eastern Time) on Thursday January 17, 2013 at the Virtua Hospital in Mt. Holly NJ. Laura was born on November 13, 1929 in St. to Fredrick Hoesli and Mary Rentfrow in St. Louis MO. She married Jack Cox and he preceded her in death in July 1991 . Laura is survived by her daughter, Lori Fite of Burlington NJ. Laura worked for Western Union in Decatur, Il and retired from the Vermilion County Auditor's office. She was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club in Danville. Laura loved doing word search puzzle books, watching her soap operas, feeding the squirrels, but most of all, loved her daughters dog Buddy dearly and considered him her grandchild. Laura also loved watching sports, especially U of I football and basketball. Laura will be laid to rest at 10:00 am on Friday January 25, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville IL. at Sunset Funeral Home. Burial will be a private family ceremony. Memorials may be made in Laura's name to the American Cancer Society.
