Laura A. Ross

WESTVILLE - Laura A. (Gondry) Ross, of Westville, passed away at 8:45am, Tuesday, March 4th, 2008, at Provena USMC in Danville. She was born on September 14th, 1963, at St. Elizabeths Hospital in Danville to Vince and Wanda (Chrostowski) Gondry. Laura had received a Liberal Arts Degree at Parkland College and a degree in Elementary Education at Eastern Illinois University. She enjoyed going fishing with her son, cooking, painting, and pottery. Those who loved her very much and will dearly miss her include: her son, Devon Gondry; her parents, Wanda & Vince Gondry of Westville; her siblings, Angela Madden of Danville, Pamela (Al Jimenez) Gondry of Bloomington, IN, & Vincent Gondry Jr of Bloomington, IN; her niece, Brittney Gondry of Westville; her nephews, Danny & Dustin Hardesty of Lexington, KY, Brian Duez of Danville, & Michael Heath of Florida; her great niece, Elisha Gondry of Westville; and her great nephew, Tanner Hardesty of Lexington, KY. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, Thursday, March 6th, 2008, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S State St, Westville, IL, with a Rosary at 3:30pm. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00am, Friday, March 7th, 2008, at St. Marys Church, 231 N State St, Westville, IL. Father Richard Brunskill will officiate. She will be laid to rest in St. Peter & Pauls Cemetery.
