Larry Miller

Larry Miller, 52, of Georgetown, died at 8:59pm, Saturday, August 22, 2009, at his home. He was born on February 4th, 1957, in Danville, IL, the son of James A. and Wilmetta (Snider) Miller. His father preceded him in death. Survivors include: his mother, Wilmetta Miller of Georgetown; his daughter, Rachel (Johnny) Brooks of Georgetown; his grandchild, Johnny Brooks of Georgetown; and his two aunts, Cathryn Snider of Westville & Wilma Cox of Westville; as well as, several cousins. Larry worked for the Danville Sanitary District for 30 years. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #26. He enjoyed fishing and working on cars. He also loved spending time with his grandson. He will also be missed by his adored companions, his cats, Tigger & Bubbie. A celebration of Larrys life will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E West St, Georgetown. Pastor Gary Farris will officiate. Visitation will be 3pm to 7pm, Tuesday, August 25, 2009, at the funeral home with a visitation also being held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. He will be laid to rest in Oak Hill Cemetery, Catlin.
