Larry Lewis

Larry Lewis, 60, of Newport, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 16, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 11, 1963, in Clinton, Indiana, he was the son of Charles "Sparky" and Josephine (Hawkins) Lewis. Larry married Missy Delp on May 23, 1997, and she survives.

In addition to his beloved wife, Missy, Larry is survived by his children, Dalton McCool and Brittney (Jon Adams) Lewis; his cherished granddaughter, Raelynn McCool, whom he affectionately called his "Rosebud"; his brother, Jerry "Crab" Lewis; his sister, Lisa Noggle; and several close nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Charles "Duck" Lewis.

Larry dedicated 31 years of his career to International Paper. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed coaching his childrens teams. Larry and Missy shared a passion for competitive shooting events. He also enjoyed reloading ammunition, rabbit hunting, fishing, gardening, and woodworking. A dedicated fan of Larry Bird and the Red Sox, he loved watching old westerns and riding his motorcycle. Above all, Larry treasured the time he spent with his family, especially his granddaughter, Raelynn.
