Larry Lee Booher

HENNING; Larry Lee Booher, 69, of Henning, passed away at 2:00 A.M. on Monday, January 3, 2005 at his residence. He was born August 9, 1935 in Danville, the son of Joe and Theta Mockbee Booher. He married Roberta Vee Evans in 1983 in Gillette, Wyoming. She survives. Other survivors include 4 children: Lorri Polly of Auburndale, FL., Ivan (Michelle) Booher of Rossville; Lee (Kelly) Booher of Antioch, Il., and Eric Booher of California; 4 step-children, Don Evans, Steven (Denise) Evans, David (Jeanne) Evans, and Andrea Evans, all of Springfield; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Larry served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. Prior to moving to the western states, Larry Worked as a manager for the JC Penney Company. He enjoyed gardening, outdoor activities, and treasured the time he spent with his family and friends.
