Cayuga, Ind. -- Larry Johnson, 61, of Cayuga, Indiana, passed away at 5:30 p.m. EDT Saturday, April 28, 2007 at his residence in Cayuga. He was born June 26, 1945, in Sandusky, Ohio, the son of Harold and Lena Kate Hillman Johnson. He married Darlene Berg on November 22, 1987 in Monroe, Michigan. She survives. Other survivors include his children: Dwight(Marilyn)Vigoren of Oregon; Lana(Randy)Brown of Blountville, Tennessee; Shawn(Lorie)Vigoren of Oregon; Larry Bryan Johnson of Blountville, Tennessee and April(Mark)Doeppers of Omaha, Nebraska; his father, Harold Johnson of Kingsport, Tennessee; thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother. Larry was currently working at Duke Energy in Cayuga, Indiana. He was a union electrician belonging to the I.B.E.W. Local #538 in Danville, Illinois. He graduated from high school in 1963 from Kingsport, Tennessee. Larry was a member of the Cayuga Sons of the American Legion Post # 263. He enjoyed NASCAR racing. He was a good husband, father and brother. He especially enjoyed his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. There will be no services. Per Larry's request, donation was made to the I.U. School of Medicine in Indianapolis. DeVerter Brothers Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana in charge of arrangements.
