Larry Decker Jr.

Larry Lee Decker Jr., 39, of Danville, passed this life at around 9:15 a.m. Monday, Dec. 8, 2008. Larry was born Sept. 11, 1969, in Danville, Ill., the son of Larry L. and the late Margo (Lee) Decker. Larry married Tammie Bright May 3, 1994. Larry is survived by his wife, Tammie; children, Jordan, Christopher, Larry III and Maranda. Also surviving: his father, Larry (Elisabeth) Decker Sr.; a brother, Kevin (Cindy) Decker; sisters, Misty (Tom) Harden and Lorrie Caudill; several nieces and nephews, Tawny, Alexis, Abby, Jessica, Lacy, Cinnamon and Jeremy, Robbie and Melissa. Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Margo Decker, special aunt, Karla Cotten, and best cousin, Scott Hansbrough. Larry had worked various jobs around Danville until his health challenged him. Larry loved watching sports, Bears, Cubs and the Fighting Illini. He will be missed by all who knew him. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, at Sunset Memorial Park.
