Larry Darwin Schroeder

Champaign Larry Darwin Schroeder, 78, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. He was born on May 6, 1940 in Galesburg, IL to Gerald and Hazel (Reed) Schroeder. Larry married Alberta Jane "Sue" Murdock on March 14, 1964 in Washington D.C.

Larry is survived by his wife; children Brian (Jill) Schroeder and Shawn (Linda) Hart; daughter-in-law Tammy Sherman; grandchildren Matthew Schroeder, Jarred Schroeder, Brittney Schroeder, and Abigail Zoch; and siblings Altaretta Rossell and Harland Schroeder. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Kenneth Schroeder; siblings Geraldine Butler, Jack Schroeder, Gary Schroeder, Eugene Schroeder, and Dorothy Scott.

Larry served 21 years in the United States Air Force before his retirement in 1979. He enjoyed woodworking.
