Larry C. Dillon, Sr.

Crawfordsville, Ind. - Larry C. Dillon, Sr., 76, of Crawfordsville and formerly of Cayuga, passed away at 5:23 a.m. EDT Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital 86th Street in Indianapolis, Indiana.

He was born February 10, 1942 in Attica, Indiana the son of the late Clark and Jean (Clark) Dillon.

Larry married Betty Maxine Uplinger on October 31, 1964 in Crawfordsville, Indiana. She survives.

Other survivors include his children: Rise" Bowling of Covington, Indiana; Rebecca Bedo of Covington, Louisiana; Larry C. (Nadeara) Dillon, Jr. and Michael (Sami) Dillon, both of Crawfordsville, Indiana and Scotty A. (Sydney) Thomason of Eugene, Indiana; several grandchildren; great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; two sisters: Sharon Dudley of Monticello, Indiana and Pam (Leon) Snyder of Hillsboro, Indiana; several nieces and nephews, and special friends: Dale Walker; Dale Tiffin; Bob Ping and Joe Frink.

Larry was preceded in death by his daughter, Reva Richey and one grandson, Matthew A. Hoskins.

Larry was a retired truck driver last working for LTC Transportation out of Lafayette, Indiana. He attended the Second Church of Christ in Danville, Illinois. Larry formerly served three years with the Army National Guard. He was a 1961 graduate of Veedersburg High School. Larry enjoyed fishing, camping, NASCAR and spending time with his family and many grandchildren.

Graveside services and burial: Monday, June 4, 2018 at 1 p.m. EDT at Eugene Cemetery in Eugene, Indiana; Officiating: Keith Warner; Visitation: Monday, June 4, 2018 from 11 a.m. EDT until time of graveside services at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana. Contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses.
