DANVILLE - Larry A. Reffett, 73, of Danville, passed away at 6:20am, Monday, March 19th, 2007, at Provena USMC. He was born on December 5th, 1933, in Westville, IL, the son of Charles and Nettie (Pridemore) Reffett. His parents preceded him in death. Those who will miss him include: his two children, Gary (Jennie) Reffett of Oakwood, IL and Kathy Warren of West Lebanon, IN; his five grandchildren, Heather (Cory) Wade of Fairmount, Larry Reffett of Virginia, Gary Reffett Jr. of Fairmount, Katie Reffett of Oakwood, & Tonya Warren of Georgetown; his ten great grandchildren; his brother, Val Reffett of Georgia; and his very special friend, Mary Jane Hebermehl of Danville. His three brothers-Raymond, Melburn, & Charles, his sister-Catherine Hensley, and his son-Larry Jr., preceded Larry in death. Larry began working at the Plastics Factory in Georgetown. He then moved on to work for General Motors Tilton Foundry for fifteen years and retired in 1984. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and mushroom hunting. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. He cherished the time he spent with his family. A celebration of Larrys life will be held at 3:00pm on Thursday, March 22nd, 2007, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S State St, Westville, IL. Patti Wise and Chuck Powell will officiate the service. Visitation will be 1:30pm to 3:00pm on Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service. He will be laid to rest in Parrish Cemetery.
