Laine Marshall Kovacic

Covington, IN- Laine Marshall Kovacic, 16, of Covington, passed away at 7:19 PM on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 in Covington. He was born on July 21, 1995 in Danville to Steve and Bobbi Jo Kovacic. They survive. Also surviving is a brother, Dalton Kovacic; grandparents Janice and Bill Kovacic, Karen Wright, and Mike and Sue Pickering and step grandfather Greg Covault; aunts and uncles, Kassi, Dusty, Angie, John, Lisa, and Rodney; cousins Garrett, Malakai, Abigail, Madelyn, Cooper, Peyton, and Cody; several great aunts and uncles; and special friends, Josh, Bryce, Cody, Colin, Chase, Nick, Shaq, Joe, Dalton, Jimmy, Shade, Garrett, Emily, Sydney, Wednesday, Bethany, Brittney, and more. He was preceded in death by his Grandpa Louie, Grandma Cecil, Grandpa Jack, Grandma Lorene, Grandma Bobbi Wright, and Grandma and Grandpa Pick. Laine was a student at Covington High School and a member of their wrestling team. He enjoyed deer hunting, detailing his car, MMA, wrestling, riding his 4-wheeler, music, and playing basketball. He also liked spending time with his friends, going for rides in the evening looking for deer and hanging around the creek. Laine loved his family and liked to hang out with his brother. He would pop in on friends and family and would stop by his Mamaw's often to eat. "I know it's too soon to say goodbye, but I have so many fond memories of you and your brother; the times we spent in the woods or working on the car. The time we had was a joy and a pleasure. It's all the little things I will miss about you. We will always love you and you'll always be in our hearts. ~Your Family and Friends." A service to celebrate the life of Laine Kovacic will be held at 2 PM ET on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Sunset's Covington Chapel. Pastor Bobby Fairchild will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Visitation will be held from 11-2 PM ET prior to the service on Saturday, Also at Sunset. Memorials may be made to Hunters Helping Hunters.
