L. Hazel Ditto

Cayuga, Ind. -- L. Hazel Ditto, 85, formerly of Cayuga, Indiana and a resident of Bartonville, Illinois the past 15 years, passed away at 2:25 a.m. CST, Monday, December 18, 2006 at the Washington Christian Village in Washington, Illinois. She was born November 26, 1921, in Camden, New York, the daughter of the late Andrew C. and Lulu Golley Snyder. She married Charles W. Ditto on February 12, 1946 in Camden, New York. He preceded her in death on September 18, 1991. Survivors include one daughter, Pauline Marie(Linn)Stevenson of Bartonville, Illinois; one grandson, Kevin Linn Stevenson of Springfield, Illinois and one brother, Roy Snyder of Camden, New York. She was a book keeper at the Camden Bank of Camden, New York for five years. She was a member of the Cayuga Church of the Nazarene. She was a 1939 graduate of Camden High School. Hazel enjoyed crocheting, gardening and raising flowers. Funeral services: 2 p.m. EST Thursday, December 21, 2006 at DeVerter Brothers Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Rev. Don Morgan; Burial: Thomas Cemetery, Newport, Indiana; Visitation: 1 p.m. EST till time of services Thursday, December 21, 2006 at the funeral home.
