Kristy Lynn Etchison

Kristy Lynn Etchison, 33, of Westville, passed away at 4:55pm, Saturday, January 18, 2014, as a result of an automobile accident in Champaign County. She was born on December 23, 1980, the daughter of Ron Lee Etchison Jr and Tina Golladay. Kristy worked in healthcare at Gardenview Manor in Tilton, IL. Her daughters & her family were her life. She enjoyed going shopping and cooking in her spare time. Kristy loved holidays and baking cookies. She was an amazing mother to her girls. They always came first, not a day would go by that she didnt express her love for both of them. They will miss her hugs and kisses dearly. There is an eternal bond between Kristy and Stacy that has always been and will always be now that she is safely in the arms of Mamo. Those will miss her dearly include: her Mother, Tina (Rick) Duprey of Westville; her Father, Ron (Cheryl) Etchison Jr of Danville; her daughters, Desiree Markwell & Maya Smith, both of Westville; her maternal grandfather, Robert Golladay of Westville; her paternal grandmother, Fran Etchison of Danville; her brother, Lonnie Buddy Estes Jr of Westville; her special sister, Stacy Woods of Westville; her special nephew, Braeden Woods of Westville; her half-siblings, Mathew Etchison of Ohio, Cameron Etchison of Danville, Brittany Etchison of Ohio, Kaitlyn Etchison of Ohio, & Bailey Etchison of Danville; and her aunts, Nona Dill of Arizona, Donna (Bob) Golladay of Hoopeston, Debbie, Lisa, & Laura of Danville. She will be also be sadly missed by, Ben Knight, and many special friends. She was preceded in death by: her maternal grandmother, Ella Mae Golladay, and paternal grandfather, Ron Etchison Sr. A celebration of Kristys life will be held at 10:00am, Friday, January 24, 2014, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, Westville, with Pastor Scott McCurdy officiating. Visitation will be 4pm-8pm, Thursday, January 23, 2014, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Westville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to help with an education fund for her daughters are welcome and can be given to Landmark Credit Union in Westville.
