Kristina (Sheppard) Parrish

Kristina “Kristy” Parrish, 52, of Rantoul, IL went to be with Jesus on the morning of Friday, January 17, 2025 at Carle Hospital, Urbana, IL. She was born January 11, 1973 in Urbana, a daughter of Terry and Pam (Todd) Sheppard.  She married Brad Parrish on December 16, 1995 in Gifford.  He survives. Also surviving are 2 sons, Carter Parrish of Rantoul; Payton Parrish of Rantoul, a sister Tina (Kevin) Modglin of Rantoul, her parents, Terry and Pam Sheppard of Rantoul. Kristy was a 1991 graduate of Rantoul Township High School and attended Parkland College.  She was a founding member of Christian Life Church and instrumental in setting up their preschool.  She was a loving wife and mother.  A fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 on Friday morning at Christien Life Church, 300 North Maplewood, Rantoul.  Pastor Barry Hinkle will officiate.  Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Rantoul. Visitation will be on Thursday evening from 4 to 7, also at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
