Kristi Hendrickx

Kristi Jean Harper Hendrickx, 33, of Danville passed away at 9:40am, Saturday, July 18, 2009 at her residence. Kristi was born April 5, 1976, the daughter of Mark A. and Doreen (Leigh) Harper. She was previously married to Peter Hendrickx and then later to Michael Kempf, both survive. Other survivors include her daughter, Sydney Hendrickx of Mahomet, her parents, Mark Harper of Danville, and Doreen (John) Clay of Georgetown, one brother, Adam D. Harper of Urbana, paternal grandparents, Herb (Betty) Harper of Danville, maternal grandmother, Jean Leigh of Danville, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. Kristi was a member of United Commercial Travelers, Danville Council #272. She enjoyed gardening, music, and cooking. Kristi especially enjoyed her pets, but most of all, spending time with her family and friends. A celebration of life for Kristi will be held at 10:00am, Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Hank Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Oakhill cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00pm Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made in Kristis name to Danville Humane Society or Vermilion County Animal Shelter.
