Kimberly Dawn Street

Kimberly Dawn Street, 47, passed away at her home in Rossville on February 12, 2014. She was born on Nov. 18, 1966 in Danville, IL to Jim and the late Nancy (Caudill) Fletcher. She graduated from Danville High School in 1984 and pursued a degree in ornamental horticulture at Danville Area Community College. She was married to Damian M. Street. Kimberly cherished spending time with friends and, especially, her family. She enjoyed luxurious trips to Jamaica where she reveled the beaches for their natural treasures. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors soaking up the warm summer sun. Kimberly sported a wide array of decorative trinkets, all of which had a special meaning to her. She had a deep love of music from many genres, and typically enjoyed her favorite tunes while manicuring her immaculate fingernails. Her granddaughter, Nancy Mae Andrew, has been the light of her life from the day she was born. Kimberly was loved by many as a beautiful and endearing person that will be greatly missed by all whom had the pleasure to meet her. Kimberly is survived by her three children: Jenny (Darin) Andrew of Tilton, IL; Justin Britton of Logan, UT; and Tyler Street of Rossville, IL. She is also survived by father and five siblings: Jim Fletcher of Oakwood; Jeff Fletcher of Danville; Jackie Fletcher of Peoria, Debbie (Todd) Butcher, Oakwood and Jamie Fletcher of Oakwood. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy (Caudill) Fletcher, and her sister, Stephanie. A celebration of Kims life will be held at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville on Sunday, Feb. 16 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. followed on Monday by a memorial service at 10:00 a.m. with Paul Rebert officiating. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
